There are many special events when a cake is a perfect treat, such as moving house, passing a driving test, graduation, starting a new job and retirement, not to mention birthdays, anniversaries christenings and more... even just to say thanks or sorry. And don't forget Christmas.

There are some terrific ideas for Christmas cakes and they make a change from the usual snow and Santa. Easter and Simmnel cakes are really good for the children with Easter Eggs and chicks.
